This autumn Native Youth tells a story within three collections.
The Emanate Collection emerges with an offering of workwear pieces on a palette of light blues, greys and pinks. Highlights include pocket details, jacquards and corduroy fabrications colours begin to intensify as the Chroma Collection introduces earthy rusts and deep indigo tones to the range. Military undertones are presented across the category with careful consideration given to new trouser silhouettes featuring a wider leg and more tapered fit.
The Eventide Collection brings in dark shades of greys, navy blues and blacks interlaced with jewel colour pops of teal on denim and Sherpa. Colour blocking is prominent throughout the range with new panelling techniques featured on bombers and jersey wear. Traditional shapes are juxtaposed with new fabrications. Jersey has been introduced to more formal silhouettes whilst more formal fabrics are found in casuals. Joggers have expanded beyond conventional offerings, functional waistbands are mixed with formal codes such front seams, tapered legs and clean hems, elevating the product from a loungewear staple.
Tencel has been introduced across shirting in short sleeve and long sleeve options with a luxurious peached hand feel. Key items include the Floral Cascade shirt, a hand painted abstract falling floral print on a midnight navy base, wool blend overcoats with features such as raw edges and contemporary cuts and the salt and pepper bouclé jersey set. Details include new trims, double faced fabrications and new embroidery executions. Prints are mirrored in Native Youth Women’s collection alongside fabrications such as mini cord and Sherpa and a fresh offering of gender neutral pieces such as the khaki Apex parka and Youth tee blur the lines further in the coherent collections.
