This month TOPMAN launch their Fine Tailoring collection by Charlie Casely-Hayford.
Comprised of 10 carefully crafted suits and with a firm focus placed on design, fit and cut, the collection combines intricate sartorial techniques with modern silhouettes. Renowned for his commitment to excellence and quality, Casely-Hayford brings an uncompromising attention for detail to Fine Tailoring to produce a meticulously curated series of timeless suits.
Intended to serve as the ultimate capsule wardrobe, each suit in the collection is purposefully designed to fulfil all tailoring needs, from relaxed weekend suits to more structured three piece wedding suits – each garment has been constructed to embody masculine elegance. Consisting of two styles, the ‘Weekend’ suits use technical fabrics to deliver a modern re-imagining of the traditional suit. Stretch wool fabrics are used in both the single and double breasted jackets to allow for ease of movement. Paired alongside a contemporary draw string jogger, the ‘Weekend’ suit merges both fashion and function.
Adding to Fine Tailoring is the occasion wear offering which is made up of three key Tuxedo jackets. A collection highlight is the teal velvet tuxedo which is designed using a signature Casely-Hayford silhouette and comes with a split shawl colour for added flare. A classic tux in black and white complete the three piece offering. Leading on from occasion wear, the wedding suits are in keeping with traditional timeless styles with a selection of single, double breasted and three piece suits in rich maroon, deep navy and classic grey check - real horn buttons are also used to add a refined edge. An extension of the occasion wear offering and a collection stand-out is the printed kimono. A limited edition item, the kimono is fashioned from pure silk and fuses Asian inspired design with quirky contemporary prints. Intricately detailed, subtle modern references such as mobiles and Instagram ‘like’ icons give a nod to the social media age, whilst a mythical dragon design remains loyal to traditional kimono design.
Lastly premium Italian wool suits made with Charlie’s hallmark split melton under collar comprise the entirety of the workwear offering, with both single and double breasted suit available. Complementing this extensive suiting collection is a selection of uniquely designed shirts fashioned from Egyptian cotton designed to sit within each of the suiting categories.
Shop the collection from the 12th of June online and in-store.
