This summer Farah turn to the British surf scene for inspiration for their high summer collection.
First introduced in Cornwall during the 1960’s; surfing was taken up by the most adventurous and daring individuals, all willing to brave the elements in pursuit of their passion for the sport.
The First Wave collection draws inspiration from these pioneers of British surfing; the clothes they wore, the landscape surrounding them, and celebrates their quintessentially British attitude to beach life.
To celebrate the launch of the collection; Farah follow professional British surfers Matt Burner and Tom Crowe on a road trip along the south coast of the UK; showcasing key pieces from the range and capturing the spirit of British surf today.
The collection comprises a range of shirts, tees, shorts and swimwear in a palette of washed pastels and marine inspired blues. Key stories include a floral print design, graphic tees inspired by the culture surrounding the UK surf scene, and a conversational micro print story featuring 99 flakes, umbrellas, deck chairs and surf boards.
