Keeping to their ethos of bridging the gap between streetwear and high fashion Filling Pieces Share their Women's SS17 campaign.
Filling Pieces has always designed unisex footwear with both males and females in mind, yet AW16 saw the release of the brand's debut women’s collection.
Shot by renowned street style photographer Asia Typek who’s work has been featured by Highsnobiety, Elle, W magazine amongst others. The shoot captures the zeitgeist of the current fashion climate through the context of the streets which are the modern day catwalks. Street style in its various guises is expertly portrayed by model Marie Berger, with the lines between streetwear and high fashion influences increasingly blurred.
Highlights include the return of the Marina silhouette - this time in a low top configuration - with luxurious green leather and suede uppers and the Low Mondi Shark in vibrant tonal suede uppers of purple and green /beige. Alongside this, we see the unisex Low Top Tabs, Steel Runner and Roots Runner Roman styles captured in a uniquely feminine way.
