Michael Kors and FUJIFILM are pleased to announce a new collaboration.
The photography brand’s first-ever fashion partnership captures the creativity of the fashion and photography worlds with the launch of the MICHAEL KORS x FUJIFILM INSTAX Mini 70 instant film camera. The MICHAEL KORS x FUJIFILM INSTAX Mini 70 camera comes in an exclusive gold metallic colour that captures the jet-set Michael Kors aesthetic. The brand logo is printed on the front of the case body, and to make it even more special, the designer’s signature is showcased in the same gold hue on the camera door for a stamp of approval from Michael Kors himself.
The collaboration was directly inspired by Michael Kors’ Scout handbag collection—a new group of silhouettes that was specially designed to emulate vintage camera bags. The initial intent behind the Scout was to bring the retro style back to life with a modern functionality, taking part in the renewed recognition and nostalgia for original instant photography. So in turn, a partnership with FUJIFILM was the organic next step. Crafted from smooth leather, the Scout features multiple compartments and a cross-body shape, and comes in a variety of colours with the option of adding interchangeable studded guitar straps for easy carrying. Other add-on items created by Michael Kors to use with the camera and bag include an INSTAX photo scrapbook, leather INSTAX photo keychain and a gold-tone chain camera strap for the camera itself.
The camera is conveniently sold as a bundle, including ready-to-use film, and will be available through the Holiday 2016 season. Prices start at £30, find out more about FUJIFILM online and shop the new Michael Kors collection now.
