This season King & Tuckfield share a part of the founders family history.
The premium British brand which has a beautifully refined aesthetics with signature selvedge denim at its core.
Inspired by the lives of the founder Stacey Wood’s Grandmother Joan Marion King (1918-2011) and her Father, Graham Aubrey Tuckfield (1925-1987), every detail from King & Tuckfield is linked to the history of a very British family. King, a ballet teacher from the East End of London in the 1940s is the inspiration behind the elegant, free-flowing women’s collection. Tuckfield, a former soldier in the British army in the 1940’s and Yorkshire mineworker, has inspired the tough practical look of the men’s collection built on the idea of working men’s styles.
Setting a new benchmark for detail obsessed clothing for quality conscious consumers, King & Tuckfield uses fabrics, details and hardware connected to Stacey’s family history. By using such focused detailing, the wearer purchases a garment that not only has a connection to family history, but also creates its own history as each piece gradually and beautifully wears out.
