The Winter 2016 All Weather Mountain Edition collection introduces a series of outerwear pieces for both men and women that mirror Vans’ footwear innovation.
Vans welcomes the 66th Parallel MTE, the Kilroy MTE and the Junipero MTE jackets to the men’s apparel collection. The 66th Parallel MTE jacket – a quilt puffer with a lightweight PrimaLoft® down blend – offers added warmth, breathability and water resistance. Paying homage to the bomber trend, the Kilroy MTE is a hooded bomber with a quilted lining perfect for those cold days. The Junipero MTE dawns the form of a traditional fisherman’s jacket but is adapted for the elements becoming the definition of classic style with added function.
This season Vans also introduce their first ever women’s apparel line of All Weather Mountain Edition pieces including the Off Key Parka MTE and Fuego Parka MTE offered in ivy green and phantom, respectively. With a smart quilted design and a high neck, the Diggit Jacket MTE blends warmth with necessary fashion. Coated with durable water repellant (DWR), all these progressive jackets will keep you warm and dry through the cold seasons.
In addition to the apparel offering, Vans returns with a robust offering of All Weather Mountain Edition footwear from Vans Classics. The collection offers premium Scotchgard®-treated leather and suede uppers, warm linings, and a heat retention layer between the sockliner and outsole to help keep feet warm and dry. A Vans constructed lug outsole takes advantage of over 20 years of snow boot history, infusing style and function into footwear that welcomes the cold seasons.
The Sk8-Hi MTE resurfaces again this season in builds that are inspired by outdoor footwear. The men’s selection is available in an array of colours including a black and tweed, pewter and plaid and a glazed ginger and plaid.
The women’s footwear pack consists of three additional Sk8-Hi MTEs in pebble leather offered in black and port royale. This women’s silhouette will also be available in a toasted coconut and true white.
