Born on a road trip across Japan last Autumn, I And Me share their second collection this season.
Inspired by the endless life encountered in every city, but moreover the boundless beauty between and among the small towns and provinces peppering the countryside, the latest collection - ONE THING WELL - is driven by the limitless form and function present throughout Japanese life.
Ridged raw denim, cut in deep-indigo Japanese Selvedge, premium Italian wool - an indigo and charcoal mix, plus striped white and grey merino make up this collection. Jet black, structured rib with raw hems, and soft jersey on the updated Essential Tee which reads ‘TO ME AND I’; an unintentional play on words, when translating I AND ME from English to Japanese.
Collaborations with milliner Carla Rose on our signature ONE THING WELL Miki hat, coupled with their ONE THING WELL x LISTEN STUDIO lifestyle partnership, on a series of resin vessels act to accentuate, but also extend beyond the aesthetic that drives the collection.
As well as the launch of their AW16 collection, I And Me will be holding another pop-up shop in Shoreditch from the 10th of November. Showcasing both the new collection as well as their debut collection OFF SEASON, and line of accessories and ceramics as a product of their collaborations with local artists.
Shop the ONE THING WELL collection online now and visit the pop-up early next month.
