Cheap Monday further develop their range with their Spring/Summer 2016 Nuclear Psychedelia collection.
The latest from the brand is a blast of energy inspired by the idea of a hippie nuclear explosion locked solely in your mind. Pops of colour and acid rain tears represent the glowing atoms and ash clouds set the mood of the collection. Nuclear Psychedelia is brought to life through three creative expressions; Bright Future reflects the positive and young take on a toxic radioactive planet. Bold prints such as the radioactive stripe, tie-dye ash cloud and shaking atoms define this route as well as colours in toxic green and acid yellow.
Prints playing with the two sides of the moon, the different phases of the moon and craters characterise Moon, a playful and innocent expression inspired by naïve stargazing.
Blast, is fashion forward, heavily destroyed and worked garments created with over-dyed techniques and handmade details. Holes, edge grindings, faded greys and blacks gives a worn in and destroyed look.
Cheap Monday continue to keep their denim range at the core of their brand, introducing seasonal washes which complement the collections theme.
Strong rips, repairs and heavy washes can be found in the Blast concept, offered in a wide range of fits and washes. Moon and Bright Future are expressed through ice-washes imitating the surface of the moon, patches and embroidery showing the two sides of the moon and the chemistry of atoms.
